We started this week off with some lovely colours during Monday’s sunrise. :D

I love the colours once the sun is above the horizon as much as I do the ones while the sun’s still working on getting out of bed. :D LOL. :D

The herd has had a great time outside this week, too bad that included Buddy and Leroy using the wire around the chicken run as a scratching post and put more holes in it. :D Thankfully my handsome husband has the skills needed to fix them up almost good as new, now we just need to keep them boys away from there and we’ll be fantastic, LOL. :D

We’ve been blessed with some very tasty meals during our quarantine. :D

We’ve had some lovely sunshine for our little walks, some rain, a bit of snow and one quick blizzard that lasted about 90 minutes then vanished like it was never here. :D If it wasn’t for the fresh snow on the ground, the steps and the dogs we might have thought we imagined it. :D LOL. :D

Our pretty puppy mom Karma and her handsome sons Shadow and Tiny enjoyed a bit of time together out in the fresh air. :D (The other dogs were out playing too, but they weren’t cooperative, and I only got these three in my pictures this week. :D)

I’ve spent a lot of time working on puzzles and playing card games on the computer whenever I needed a break from learning Hebrew on Duolingo.com, a great way to spend our quarantine, in my opinion. :D

We’ve been checking in on our kids every couple of days over the weeks of our quarantine, they’re both doing well, which is always good to hear. :D

We managed to chip away the ice from around the round bales and got one out for our very happy herd this week as well. :D

We had a bunch of the little black, grey and white birds visit us several times this week. :D I enjoy seeing them come by and helping themselves to the hay chafe, they love it a lot. :D

We had a few of our chicks hatch out of their eggs this week, the rest were duds, so once we got these little cuties safely moved over into their temporary “coop” in our basement and settled in with their new feeder and waterer, then we put a fresh batch into the hatcher. :D Lord willing, we’ll get at least a dozen new hens total and maybe a rooster or two to watch over the older hens that won’t be laying anymore. :D They can free-range and help keep pests out of our garden beds. :D
