It took some time between the announcement and the actual integration in the Matic network, but the team did deliver and Crypcade is now available on the Matic network. This is an added value for both parties!
# What is Crypcade.io?
Crypcade.io is a gambling/gaming dapp which did start on the tron network! For the moment they only have the gambling part life, while we are awaiting on the gaming part. They do claim to become the Uber of online gaming. They will offer a platform on which players can participate in tournament or battle it out between themselves. This does give them the possibility to earn some crypto!
The gambling part is running for quite some time now. For the moment they only have one in-house game (Dice) and lots of slots from multiple suppliers! I have been playing here since the beginning and the looks and feel is for sure different from the other gambling dapps with their neon style lay-out.
The game are fair and do feel fair, which is very much important for the players.
Why is this great news for Crypcade?
Well I did learn some stuff during my crypto years. And one of the lessons is that most people have their favorite cyrptocurrency or chain. And it is hard for the dapp developers in another currency to get them over to another chain or cryptocurrency. So if a developer creates his dapp on currency x and chain x, it will be almost impossible to convince crypto people who don't have the crypto or don't have a wallet on the specific game to try out the dapp! With the integration of Matic it is not only possible to gamble with Matic but also with Ethereum, which of course gives them a lot more potential customers.
This is also a vital step for them, for launching their gaming site of their platform!
But it is also great for the player, who now can play with not only Tron, but also with Matic and Ethereum. Regardless of the cyrpto used, the players is earning some Cade, which will result into dividends in TRX, Matic and ETH! How great is that?
On the other hand the players who only have a Tron wallet will have to install Metamask, to be able to withdraw the divs in ETH and/or Matic.
# Why is this great for the Matic Network?
The more dapps available on a chain, the more appealing it is. Not only the number of dapps are important, but also the number of categories. A chain with only dapps in a certain category could be appealing for some, but not for all. It is just about making your chain more interesting for people to step in and use the chain, hence a potential increase in the value of the native currency for the chain.
And there weren't a lot of gambling dapps available on the Matic chain. So when an already established dapp integrates with the chain it is a win-win situation.
