Brain exercises
As parents and teachers, we often focus on getting our children to study without the awareness of the benefits of getting the right and left brains to do exercises that can often help with coordination and sharpen their mental capacity.

There were many parents who discovered that their children are able to focus and study more effectively after regularly engaging their children in brain exercises.

I had done brain exercises with my students.

It is a good activity especially when they are tired of listening to us. It can help to make them more alert after doing some brain exercises.

<strong>Instruments</strong>

Most instruments need both hands to play so the need to coordinate between the right and left brains becomes crucial.

Through learning instruments, many children may start to develop greater creativity in many other areas.

They are able to focus better since using both hands would require concentration.

<strong>Brain gym exercises</strong>

With both brains doing different actions, our children would find themselves not only enjoy but their memory and perception of things may improve.

Some believe that it is part of the midbrain activation.

Below is a videoclip that you can do with your kids.

I am quite sure that you would find it fun to do with your kids too.

<strong>Word and colour exercise</strong>

Our left brain is used for reading and logical thinking while our right brain is where our creativity lies.

The below video includes a brain exercise that involves colours and words to exercise our left and right brain.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWi9c9neJ3U">Video Source</a>

We can do this activity with our kids and have fun with them.

<strong>In conclusion</strong>

Children who exercise their left and right brains may see many benefits even in their studies.

It can also benefit adults from getting dementia since there is a constant need to keep our brains active to maintain our soundness.

We can do these activities with our kids as family bonding to improve our relationship with them.
