One of the most basic ground rules that I missed out when I had my online lesson with my large group of students was I did not state that they should mute their microphones before they entered into the google meet. It ended with many students chatting with one another and the noise level was terrible. We need to instruct them that each time there can only be one voice so the rest must mute the microphone.
