| json_metadata | "{"musingAppVersion":"1.1","appCategory":"life","appTags":["life","food"],"app":"musing\/1.1","appParentAuthor":"funtraveller","appDepth":2,"musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","appParentPermlink":"f3kfretcq","musingPostType":"answer","appBody":"<p><em><strong>Yes this will definitely be African folktales that were told to us when we were little children<\/strong><\/em> the truth is that as I grew up I came to learn that these folktales were not actually true for example <em><strong>where we are had talking animals in these stories relationships and marriage between animals and human being, stories on how human beings were actually made and how the earth came into existence.<\/strong><\/em> The truth is that this folktales told by african legends and passed on from generation to generations we are like a moral ladder and compass which way passed through while growing up, these stories had moral lessons to them and there wasn't any of this folktales that didn't teach moral lessons to us when we were actually being told about them. <em><strong>So one of the reason why we still believe them to be somewhat true was because of the fact that some of these stories seems to have historical backgrounds that leads to tribal cultures and tradition<\/strong><\/em> but they were definitely not true however up till now I still find this stories to be somewhat original because they were like a moral compass which we followed while growing up.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn't as if we choose to believe that these stories were true I and my friends that actually listened to them the truth is that they were not just mythical stories they had a traditional tendency to them that made it look as if our race as the black people was predestined and predetermined by this mythical African stories that were very rich in moral lessons and also rich culturally. So sometimes I still believe our african stories have some truth in them even if scientifically or historically it has been proven to be very wrong and untrue.<\/p>","appTitle":"Do you have myths that you still believe even though you already learned that it isn't actually true?"}" |
