Here's a basic fact, coins are native to their own blockchain while tokens are built on top of another blockchain. In the case of Hive & Hive-Engine tokens, Hive is the coin while Leo or POB are the tokens. These tokens rely on the Hive blockchain to store their data through smart contracts. In this setup, the tokens can be easily created with lesser resources than creating a coin with a whole new blockchain.
That's probably the reason why there are hundreds of tokens listed on Hive-Engine that are utilizing the resources of the Hive blockchain.
I'm just wondering how many of those tokens will become valuable?
Among all of the Tribe tokens in Hive-Engine, Leo & POB seem to be the more interesting for me.

What I think is that Leo has the strongest community that's backing it while POB had the most interesting token distribution among them. That's probably why these tokens are priced higher than the native coin (Hive). The holders of these tokens are willing to pay more to acquire more of them.
The Leo token is a niche platform that is focused on finance-related content while POB is a general-purpose platform that allows all types of content.
The Leo tribe is proof that a finance-related content platform is something that users will value. I for one read content in Leo finance to learn what the finance savvy users can tell about a specific topic that I'm interested in. I feel that there is a legitimate validation on the content whenever it was endorsed by the platform. The curation process in this platform is trustworthy; *that's my impression*.
When it comes to the POB (Proof-of-Brain) tribe, the frontend and content don't define a clear distinction among the other tribes. But what sets it apart is the way the tokens were being distributed. It took the Proof of Brain concept literally and began the distribution through it. There are no pre-sale, airdrop, and any initial supply aside from the POB main account. The tokens were rewarded to the early users of the platform that showed interest in this new tribe token. It is very simple, a user may simply post, comment, and engage with other users through the platform or through the use of the #proofofbrain tag.
I can't tell what the future holds but for now, I like what these tribes have achieved so far. And, I'm also looking forward to their development in terms of community building. I hope that someday, they are able to grow their user base not only from the Hive ecosystem but also from other crypto communities and see the potential of these tribes.
