## Bitcoin
Following my neutral-bearish outlook from a [2 weeks ago](https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/iqQ3lRVu-Short-term-BTCUSD-play/), I think its quite possible to see Bitcoin retrace and re-test some of the longer term trendlines. To hedge against this, I have reduced my BTC holdings, and am looking to diversify with other coins.

## Steem

There has been quite a bit of trading activity in the range between .0042 and .0052, thus I consider this an important zone.
Looking at 1hr chart, I can see we are in a *no mans land* right now. Without a clear directional move, its hard to know where STEEM will go just based on the chart.

In the very short term, I expect it to retest the upper line.

## Steem Dollars
$SBD is trading at a 13% 'discount' from its desired peg, however, before you get too excited, that is its actual current fair price.

We can confirm FP for SBD by adjusting for the difference between internal STEEM/SBD and external STEEM/USD markets.

Regardless, I like the idea of buying SBD below $1. I think (I might be wrong here) it is in Steemit's interest to find ways to peg SBD to $1, and new incentives may be created to do so in the future. Thus, in the long term I expect SBD to go back up to $1.
Furthermore, holding SBD pays 10% APR in interest, which is a pretty sweet deal.

## Ethereum and Ethereum Classic
Wow. I will save a more elaborate debate on ETH vs ETC for another time, lets just look at some numbers here.

**Trading Volume:**

$82,000,000 changed hands in ETC trading along. Furthermore ETC had almost double the trading volume (in BTC terms) over ETH.

**Performance**

I am not going to make any predictions at this time. With 300% daily gains, its hard to say weather we need a cool-off from all the FOMO and greed, or if we are in for another massive push higher.

What I do know is that Ethereum Classic is here to stay. Its time to start taking it more seriously.

Earned 100ETC trough trading, keeping them for the 'long term' and see how far this can get.

### Ethereum Classic Mining
One thing I would like to point out, is that ETC mining is **VERY PROFITABLE** right now.
Using 280x, and $0.12/kwh for base calculations, ETC is almost 5x as profitable to mine as ETH.

The market is probably going to adjust, when ETH miners start switching to ETC. Enjoy the high profitability while it lasts :)
