This post was easy to write. I've been stumbling on so many Bitshares related pieces lately, it was obvious I had to write some of it down. Alas, I had to leave much of it out, in order to be brief and meet the attention span of today's readers (myself included).

So take a brief journey into the world of BTS and visit the blocktivity.info's [Blockchain Activity Matrix](https://blocktivity.info/). As you can see, BTS is rocking near the top, being only challenged by EOS just recently. Steem we don't consider a competitor, as they are partners in crime, both running their ops on the Graphene technology.

As a matter of fact, lets not call EOS competition  either, as the top 3 dogs on the above table are all the future of blockchain, in our eyes. A wonderful artist @beekart from @buildteam has custom-made this large billboard to advertise the blockchain in various places around the world, an initiative by @steemdrive:

During a recent Bitshares meetup in Philippines, a Bitshares ATM was introduced. According to early info, the BTS ATM can accept and spit out cash or NFC payment cards, and is a collaboration effort between Compumatrix International and Virtual Web Assist, who deals with web development and digital offices.

I ripped a quote from Compumatrix' Henry James Banayat out of context for you guys:
