<center>https://coinmarketnewstoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/gold-3080552_1280.jpg</center> <br/><br><div><div class="td-post-featured-image"><figure><img width="696" height="392" class="entry-thumb" src="https://sludgefeed.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Bloomberg-terminal-696x392.png"   alt="" title="Bloomberg-terminal"/><br><figcaption class="wp-caption-text">Travis Wise / Flickr</figcaption></figure></div><p><iframe data-aa="875035" src="http://acceptable.a-ads.com/875035?size=Adaptive&amp;title_color=6702ff&amp;link_color=6702ff" scrolling="no" style="border:0px; padding:0;overflow:hidden" allowtransparency="true"></iframe></p><aside class="mashsb-container mashsb-main mashsb-stretched"/><p><a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Bloomberg</strong></a> recently added the <strong><a href="https://www.huobi.pro/huobi_index/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HUOBI 10 Index</a></strong>, an index created by the world’s <strong><a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">third-largest crypto exchange</a></strong> that tracks ten of the top digital currencies, to its <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloomberg_Terminal" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Bloomberg Terminals</strong></a>.</p><p>Huobi launched the Huobi 10 index last month, which is calculated using a <strong><a href="https://www.statssa.gov.za/cpi/documents/Note_on_CPI_Laspeyres,_Paasche_and_Fischer_indices_2013.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pasche weighted composite price index</a> </strong>formula, with the average daily trading volume of the previous quarter taken as a core index of sample selection.</p><p>The index includes most of the top market cap-weighted cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (<a href="https://coincodex.com/crypto/bitcoin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>BTC</strong></a>), Ethereum (<a href="https://coincodex.com/crypto/ethereum/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>ETH</strong></a>), <a href="https://sludgefeed.com/eos-mainnet-launch-all-you-need-to-know/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>EOS</strong></a> (<a href="https://coincodex.com/crypto/eos/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>EOS</strong></a>), Ripple (<a href="https://coincodex.com/crypto/ripple/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>XRP</strong></a>), as well as Huobi’s own token (<a href="https://coincodex.com/crypto/huobi-token/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>HT</strong></a>). All listed coins are bought and sold using <strong><a href="https://sludgefeed.com/tethers-transparency-update-claims-usdt-fully-backed/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tether</a></strong> (USDT).</p><p>Huobi also recently <strong><a href="https://sludgefeed.com/huobi-launches-first-crypto-etf/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">launched</a></strong> its first exchange-traded fund (ETF), HB10, a trading vehicle that tracks the <strong><a href="https://www.huobi.pro/huobi_index/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">HUOBI 10 Index</a></strong>. This move followed the <strong><a href="https://sludgefeed.com/overview-of-cryptocurrency-index-funds/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">growing trend</a></strong> of financial firms and cryptocurrency companies designing and launching their own ETFs.</p><p>The new addition to the Terminal comes just a month after Bloomberg added a crypto index through a <strong><a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/company/announcements/bloomberg_galaxy_launch_cryptocurrency_index/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">partnership with Galaxy Digital</a></strong>.
