Siembra una vez esta planta y tendrás alimento para siempre.

Esta es una de mis plantas favoritas de la granja, la papa del aire o ñame, una grandiosa planta que crece silvestremente y que podemos observar y encontrar en cualquier parte.

Basta con retirar estos tubérculos de la misma y lanzarlos en un lugar con tierra donde sea, y nos olvidamos que lo hicimos y ella sola encuentra la forma de reproducirse, y año con año la planta desaparecerá durante el verano, dejando bajo tierra un tesoro que es su grandioso tubérculo protegido de las inclemencias del tiempo.

Aquí están las lianas y guindas de la planta que son las que nos permiten identificar la misma, y sabor que esta ahí, para nuestro auxilio en épocas de calamidad, anteriormente les había dicho que la tenia no para usarla siempre sino como un banco alimentario del que hechar mano sea por placer y autosostenibilidad o por calamidad y pobreza, al menos la necesidad básica de la alimentación estará debidamente satisfecha.

Enterrada en la tierra y con sus bellas raíces protegiéndola donde la liana aérea termina conectada en el suelo, encontramos nuestra raíz tubérculos comestible que en este caso solo la observamos desenterrando un poco y la volvemos a dejar tal cual, para que el próximo invierno en épocas de lluvia tengamos nuestra planta nuevamente lista para emerger y darnos sombra, Un bello color verde, y sus brotes tiernos comestibles que son una delicia, que podemos aprovechar en nuestra cocina.

Año con año la planta emergera en el mismo sitio y esparcira sus tubérculos, desde las alturas para que la naturaleza haga su trabajo, y nosotros sepamos donde acudir en caso una emergencia alimentaria, y esta planta es súper resistente a sequías y dificultades climáticas por lo que tenemos nuestra reserva.
