Are my sunglasses are in the Bermuda Triangle or Twilight Zone?

After struggling with the *Photos App* on my iMac since Apple updated from the iPhoto App a couple of years ago I decided to look for other options. Dropbox was the winner and I purchased some space. I have about 1.5Tb now and have started uploading some 18,000 images and 500 or so videos from our travels, various events and life in general. Whilst going through some of the photos dating back to around 2002 I noticed something curious. Sunglasses. Loads of them.

I noticed that I've had a lot of sunglasses over those 15 years whilst looking through my photos. The curious thing is that I don't know where any of them went. Well, I have discarded a couple of pairs through being worn and scratched but other than that I'm at a loss as to where they went. I counted 27 pairs which works out to 1.8 pairs of glasses a year. Does that seem excessive? I think so considering I can only account for two pairs!

I often have multiple pairs of sunglasses on the go due to being a shooter and a bit of an outdoorsman. A good set of ballistically rated wrap-arounds are essential kit and as a married bloke I'm subject to the *will of the wife* who sometimes decides I should have this set or that hence a couple of pairs at one time. I am typically careful with my sunglasses and so didn't think I churned through them so quickly. How wrong was I?

I'm almost positive my glasses are *not* trapped somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle or the Twilight Zone however I'm at a loss to know where *that* many sunglasses could have disappeared to. Having said that though, I'd be pretty happy to never see a few of them again. I can't believe I actually thought some of them looked good. How fashions change huh?

I can't go past Google drive and Google photos. You can set up your computer to automatically two way sync a folder to google drive, and every Google drive photo appears in Google photos.

Add that to auto syncing photos from your phone, and inbuilt editing tools in both app and web.

Sisi, I have a pixel phone so all photos taken on my phone sync at full quality without using up any allocated space

Sounds pretty good. I remember the days when photos got printed on photo paper and you didn't have the ability to delete a picture from the camera if you didn't like it. :)

We have a My Cloud that we store everything, its accessible by WiFi onsite and can be accessed offsite but we haven't set it up properly. 

As for sunnies, I'm looking at a container of at least 20 of which I wear one pair, that's so old they are peeling but I love them and my husband none unless going on holidays for some reason.

Me too, ditto inside but also dont wear them at night. Some people still wear them on there head after dark, are you one of those glass wears?

Yep and even then not all that much. It used to weird me out, as I squint from the glare when in the sun without my glasses. doesn't even faze him, he tells me its because my eyes are no longer used to it. I think its better for my eyes as less wrinkles, lol... We just now let each other be. :-)
