Loving that trout pout: NOT
Have you ever wondered how your lips rate in the grand scheme of things? Are they in the top seven *most loved lips?* I haven't actually ever wondered that myself, but it seemed like a legit thing to write about. You see, these day's lips are not just lips, they are personal flotation devices...Or that's what they tend to look like when too much botox is used...And loads of people seem willing to have personal flotation lips. 

I came across this advertisement board in a specialist's rooms the other day and snapped an image of it. Take a look at the lips...Are your *favourite lips* on the board? These top seven lips have been voted on by Australia and New Zealand apparently; I don't actually remember the voting process however I could have voted for lips in the last Federal Election I guess. I can't really recall considering the whole election-process in Australia is an actual joke. So, are they? Are *your* favourite lips there?

These day's it's common-place to run into people with botox-inflated lips; Some look good, you know, an enhancement of what's already there, and some don't look so good at all. I have only really seen a few that I would say looked natural with the rest looking like they've been pumped up at the local service station with an air compressor. Still, I guess that beauty is in the perception of the beholder and the world seems to be short of *good sense* these days.

I'm not sure if the lips in the image above are enhanced or natural. To me they all look natural however who's to know? What I *do* know is that many, many people are resorting to botox to enhance their lips and other areas. A good thing? Hell, I don't know...Each to their own I suppose.

This woman's *trout pout* is the result of a heap of dermal filler being injected into her lips. The article I found the image on says she want's to go bigger too! This sort of lip-pumping seems to be increasingly popular with women these days. Is it going too far? Certainly in their eyes it's not. This woman seems extremely pleased with the result except the fact they are too *small!* however I'm not sure if they really look that good at all. I wonder what makes a person want to do this to their lips and how they could possibly think they look good. Again, everyone is different and has different opinions so I'm not judging...I just don't really get it though. Could it be a case of once it's done a person simply *has* to be happy with them? Are lips like this irreversible once done? The article states she wan't them bigger so that excuse doesn't really work; Not for this person anyway. She quite obviously *chose* to inflate her lips like a couple of vehicle collision air bags. Much like other parts of her I guess. 

I'll never understand why people would choose to do this to themselves and I'm sure it will only get worse in time as the treatment becomes more affordable and people more narcissistic. Fads come and go though and I'm sure people may judge me for having tattoo's, or at least wonder what made me decide to mark my body in that way, so maybe it's just a passing fad. I'm not sure. 

What I know is that I would certainly select **any** of the lips in the first image over the ones in the second any day of the week. How about you? So, I ask again...Which lips do you prefer, a set from the top seven or the last set? Feel free to comment. No judgement; I'm sure someone likes air-bag-lips as much as the woman in the image.

I mean, does anybody else than the women who do that to themselves like those lips? And then that horrible duck face that a lot of non-surged people also make... I mean, what's with the sudden duck fetish? I don't know, trends come and go – the last one, at least here in Finland among youngsters, is to have you're pants fold up a little keeping your ankles exposed. And it's often coupled with ankle socks. And it's not just in the summer, but all the way to sub-zero degrees. I mean, you'd think a cold breeze onto naked ankles would feel awkward, no? Whatever beauty (and keeping up with trends) takes, I guess.

Thank heaven I'm not the only one :))) I don't really trust the bare ankle thing either, it just seems really cold. I mean I'm over here barely keeping warm in my normal length clothes and I see some chick with half her leg exposed. Duuude.

We get blokes wearing really tight three-quarter length pants, usually white of salmon coloured, with little girlie shoes and no socks...Not a look I'd say looks that good.

All of those seven lips up there basically look the same to me. I think the advent of lipstick was brilliant - women change the perception of their lips drastically by altering the color. Just that ought to be enough.

A lot of body modifications aren't to my personal taste, but I don't imagine a girl in her 20's is too concerned for my tastes.

I can't imagine that many men in their 20s would be particularly drawn to those lips either. Extreme modifications take things outside of the realm of natural and most people are averse to that. After all, we subconsciously choose our partners on traits that we feel desirable in our offspring. Do we really want to gift our offspring with something that will get them turn to pieces at school?

Maybe I'm not hip, but I don't find that woman attractive in the least. Those lips in the list though are pretty nice. I don't get it what it is about big lips, really. I have a few ideas, I mean, but I don't really get how the lips figure into it.

Oh good,you had me worried there for a second. :)) Also, you had me staring at my lips in the mirror for like five seconds :))) Oh, I have this lip gloss that's supposed to make your lips bigger. It's got some chemical shit in it that pricks your lips and actually makes them more pouty. Though definitely not like in that second pic. :))

Yeah, I'm not into the big lip thing at all. I think some of the lips in the first image look quite nice however I'm more of an *over all package* guy which includes looks, character and personality when it comes to women. 

Things are complicated on my home planet HD and you've seen what the women look like naturally without lip enhancement. Could you imaging if Botox became popular there? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of air bag lips and cosmetic enhancement in general. I have seen some really tastefully-enhanced people though I guess...Still, it's not really my thing.
