The Danish kroner is the strongest one from the Scandinavian countries and I applaud them for not choosing the Euro. Whatever economy embraced the Euro regretted afterwards. I've talked with Germans that remember how strong was the buying power of the Deutsche Mark comparing it with the Euro era. Regarding Denmark, I only drove through it once, in a road trip from Sweden to Romania, and haven't got too much time to spend there, but they seem very chill folks. I wonder what will be your impression of their language though :)

Copenhagen is a beautiful city so you could basically use one day just to walk around and admire the architecture. The most famous is Strøget which has old architecture nice small streets and cool pubs and restaurant. It is however extremely expensive hehe. I noticed that while walking there. So when you get hungry, just walk a few hundred meters away from the main tourist area and the prices drop quickly. Just and advice. 

There is also Nyhavn which is a an old river canal man made I believe. The building are very beautiful there next to the water and the house numbers 18, 20 and 67 (marked with a plaque) were home to the author Hans Christian Andersen at different times.

There is an amusement park inside the city as well, but I guess this time of the year it ain’t too much fun. I think Copenhagen is interesting, but Denmark is quite easy to travel around in so I would suggest checking other places out as well .

You should check out Geocaching (https://www.geocaching.com/play). When we head to a new, or previously visited, city/location it takes us to many wonderful spots that we may or may not have seen otherwise.
