One of the recent changes to the raid system was that as Mewtwo moved into mainstream raids this month, a new EX Raid boss was put it his place.  It made all the sense that the new boss would be Generation 3’s Deoxys.  As these new raids have started to roll out, Niantic has implemented a new system to improve the distribution and opportunity to capture this new raid boss.

Now, those trainers that receive and EX Raid invitation could invite one person for each invitation received.   The invite, however, must be an ultra friend or higher.  I was fortunate to have a friend that got invites on multiple accounts and therefore invited me to an EX Raid next week!  While I have not had the chance to play much these days, the changes and events that Niantic continue to add, make Pokemon Go’s game much more enjoyable.

This may also be a clear signal that the Generation three release is now complete.  With the recent teaser of Generation four, we may start to see the next phase of Pokemon being released very soon.  Having said that, I think I need to catch up and see where my Pokedex completion is as we soon start thinking of adding a whole new region.
