<h3><strong>CouchWarriors Crossup bring the Fighting Game Community Together</strong></h3>
This weekend Melbourne is playing host to the FGC gaming and esports event, CouchWarriors Crossup. This event features not only the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Saga but the first major Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament as well.

Held at the <strong>Batman Royale</strong> from the <strong>15 to 16 December</strong>, CouchWarriors Crossup brings the Fighting Game Community together one last time for the year.

The main tournament for <em>Dragon Ball FighterZ</em> allows players from Australia and New Zealand to go up against players from Japan, Singapore and the USA. All for the chance at securing a spot in the World Finals, where $5, 000 is up for grabs.

Competition is set to be fierce with three time Saga championship winner, Ryouta "Kazunoko" Inoue competing in this year's tour.

While the event is already underway there is plenty still to come this Sunday, with matches being held for <em>Mortal Kombat X</em>, <em>Soul Calibur VI</em>, <em>Tekken 7</em>, <em>Street Fighter</em> and many more. There will also be beginner events for <em>Smash</em> (Sunday) and <em>Splatoon 2</em> which Spectator Pass holders can participate in. These pass holders can also play the latest build of <em>Dead or Alive 6</em> by Team Ninja and Tecmo Koei.

Australian and New Zealand fighting game players will also be competing in the nation wide league <strong>BAM Path to Evo</strong>. This event establishes the best players in the region leading up to <strong>BAM11 - </strong>an event which will see three players from ANZ to go to the <a href="http://evo.shoryuken.com/"><strong>EVO World Championships</strong></a>.

<h3><strong>It's Not Entirely A Competition</strong></h3>
Aside from competitive events, Madman Entertainment is hosting a <strong>Dragon Ball Super Movie: Broly</strong> display and photo area. Melbourne's esports bar, <strong>GGEZ</strong>, will not only be holding the event's Sunday after party but is also hosting a pop up bar at the event for attendees over the age of 18.
