The garden gnomes are super-pleased to announce that we are growing. We now have 125 SP in delegations and expect more on the way. # Submit Your Speculative Fiction and Nonfiction
Write for us. Not only will we upvote your post, but we will also promote it and share the author rewards with you. Here's how it will work.

Submit your story to us. If we like it, we'll publish it on the [Garden Gnome Publications](http://gardengnomepubs.com/) website, which is powered by WordPress. We also use the @steempress plugin, which pushes all published posts to this Steemit account. Authors we publish through this channel will receive the following benefits:

* A byline (you'll get full credit for your submission)
* Upvotes from the @gardengnomepubs and @blockurator accounts
* 50% of author curation rewards for your post

The strength of your upvotes will be based on available resource credits at the time. Author curation rewards can vary depending on who else upvotes your post and the strength of their upvote. As an example, read [this post](https://steemit.com/fiction/@gardengnomepubs/fictionexcerptdragonflight-b5sqjz0nxy).

The example post received $17.92 in potential payouts within the first 24 hours of posting. This includes an upvote by @steempress valued at $.07 and by @steempress-io valued at $5.96. Additionally, it received an @curie vote valued at $.85 along with several other upvotes worth $.40 or more, and one worth almost $7.00. 

While such upvotes are not guaranteed, when they do occur, we'll share them with our published authors.

# How to Submit
We're looking for speculative fiction of 1,000 to 2,000 words. This can be anything in the #sci-fi, #fantasy, or #horror categories. Mixing genres is encouraged. Make it #weird, big bonus.

We'd also like to see your book reviews of speculative fiction books, movies, and streaming entertainment (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.). 

To enquire about publishing opportunities and process, send an email or your submission to editor at gardengnomepubs dot com. Please do not send #writing already published, on Steemit or elsewhere. Give us your real name and your Steemit name and let us know if you want to publish with your real name or not (you'll automatically have your submission associated with your Steemit account).

We're looking for first worldwide electronic rights. If we accept your submission, you agree not to republish for at least seven days--after post payout.
