I am from Honduras, we had about the same scenario in 1990, the more right wing candidate (you have to understand Honduras has never had anything but center right or right wing governments) promised to change everything just like Bolsonaro, and he did, mostly to help out businesses, today about 90% of our economy is controlled by these businessmen (about 12 families) our currency is practically free floating, also we are still the poorest country in Latin America, except for Haiti, and by the way that president is now awaiting his sentence in the US mainly for theft (he became after his presidency the Honduras football federation's president and he stole money, and he was already many times over a millionaire) I really hope Bolsonaro doesn't turn out to be another Callejas.
