Yes gold and silver fell on friday. But why... I think someone intervened, to avoid them reaching the 1300 line, which is psychologically important. I'm assuming that, because platinum and palladium still made a huge leap up on friday. That is not normal.
Yes, I guess things are going down hill now, and the people at the rudder are getting desperate. The only option is basically a new round of QE - but that would also speed up the decay of the dollar, and make things worse at the end. I expect a really interesting year to come.

A Friday beat-down is a regular occurrence so not to let the general public see gold as an alternative to Fiat.  Good point on the other two PMs having a decent day on a Friday......As I have been saying, too many holes in the dyke, and the PPT has their attention on the stawk market and bonds, derivatives, currencies, we are going to see each fall off, one at a time then it falls, all at once.

Yeah, I know. I was actually surprised that gold was allowed to go over the 1250 and near the 1300 since christmas. Perhaps the people in charge of controlling this been away on vacation or something... :)
