Storj is a decentralized storage solution that provides encrypted storage powered by a community of people renting out their hard drive space. People who rent out their hard drive space are nicknamed, Farmers.

Storj issues tokens to farmers once a month based on their farming performance. All you need to farm is extra disk space, internet connection, and running the Storj application constantly or simply when ever you're using your computer.

So let's get farming!

1. **Computer w/ Internet Connection**
2. **Free disk space** *You can farm with external disks too! I personally run 2 x 4 TB drives at the office*
3. **Your Ethereum Address** to receive token payouts
4. **Storj Share Application** download and install here https://storj.io/share.html

Once you've completed the following create a folder on your system or external drive and name it E.g. "**My_Farmer**"

Run the Storj Share App and click the **"+ Add Drive"** button. You'll be prompted to enter your Ethereum address to receive payouts, then select the desired disk space you want to rent out. 

That's it, you're farming!
