<p>Emma knew that she would not be back in time for dinner but the garden looked so beautiful and inviting...somewhat magical. She strolled around and walked closer to the fountain. The water looked so bright and clear but she didn't know if it was drinkable. She didn't want to take the chance but decided to at least rinse her face with it because the heat was overwhelming. She splashed the water over her face and rubbed her arms with the cold water. It was so refreshing that she wished she could just jump into the fountain, and she laughed at herself for even thinking about it.&nbsp;</p>
<p>She filled up the little bottles of water as souvenirs to take with and took a few photos with her phone before walking back to the taxi. It was a very enjoyable afternoon and she was looking forward to spending a quiet dinner with her new friend Noah.&nbsp;</p>
<p>While driving back to the city, Emma thought about the events of the afternoon. That lady in the last little shop wanted to tell her something, and she had no clue what it was. She was just glad that she gave her the map to get to that magical garden. It was a wonderful experience and she wondered if Noah knew about the place.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Emma felt good about herself and after the driver dropped her off, she quickly went upstairs to take a quick shower and get dressed. She planned to look her best when Noah came to fetch her because she didn't want to look like an old lady.&nbsp;</p>
<p>She dried her face with the towel and stared in the mirror. Something was wrong with the mirror, and she wiped it off with her towel. She stared at herself in the mirror and couldn't believe what she was seeing. The woman staring back at her was not her. It was still her...but she looked at least twenty years younger than what she looked this morning. The change was absolutely remarkable.&nbsp;</p>
<p>She was amazed, shocked and very excited all at the same time. She took her phone and took a selfie just to make sure. There was definitely a big change in her appearance and she looked like she was forty years old instead of sixty one. It must have something to do with the water in the fountain. Whatever it was, Barcelona was good for her and it just gave her the best birthday present ever.&nbsp;</p>
<p>She looked ravishing when she finally met Noah downstairs to go to the dining room.</p>
<p>Noah was immediately stunned with the radical change, and he whispered in her ear.&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>"You look beautiful. You are one of the chosen ones. I assume you've found the secret fountain...."</em></p>
<p><em>"You know about this?"</em> she asked sounding very surprised and curious.</p>
<p>He nodded and winked at her.&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>"Not many people know about the place. It is a well kept secret in the community, but the fountain is not open to anyone. Only to a few chosen ones each year." &nbsp;</em></p>
<p>Emma was astonished.&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>"I am so glad it chose me."&nbsp;</em></p>
<p><em>"I'm glad too. Do you want to guess how old I am?"</em></p>
<p><em>" You mean that you're also using the fountain?"</em></p>
<p><em>"I am. I'm turning sixty three this year. Emma I've been attracted to you from the second you walked onto that plane. Why do you think I stay in Barcelona?"</em></p>
<p>Emma blushed, but the whole thing seemed so far fetched that Emma burst out laughing. Her life long dream...her grandmother's little bottle. Now she knew why her grandmother never said a word about what happened here. She wanted her to come here to experience what she did.&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>"The effects of the water last about a week, but you need to visit the fountain once a week and drink at least one small glass of water per day."</em></p>
<p><em>"Amazing..." </em>Emma said in awe.&nbsp;</p>
<p>They ordered food and had an absolute amazing time together. Emma felt as if she met her soulmate, and couldn't believe what was happening.&nbsp;</p>
<p>They went for an evening stroll and at ten that evening he dropped her off at her door. She wanted to invite him in, but he was a real gentleman and kissed her on the forehead.&nbsp;</p>
<p>They had made plans to visit the fountain the next day before he took her on a tour through the city.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Emma could hardly sleep that night because she was so excited. She kept on pinching herself and kept on checking her face in the mirror. She finally fell asleep and woke up again at six. She took the little bottle of water and drank it before she went to the bathroom to shower.&nbsp;</p>
<p>She felt absolutely amazing when Noah finally came to pick her up in his car and she felt young and vibrant when he put the roof down and she could feel the wind blowing through her hair. &nbsp;</p>
<p>They had a picnic down by the fountain and afterwards they went for a stroll on the beach. It was if they just belonged together. He took her on a tour through the city afterwards, and they had a lovely lunch late in the afternoon at one of Noah's favorite restaurants. It was then that she decided that she was never going back. She wanted to stay here with Noah, and he wanted her to stay.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The attraction between the two of them could be felt from a distance and when they walked up the stairs on the way to her hotel, Noah stopped and kissed her. He was still kissing her when an older couple walked past and she could hear the old man saying&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>"These young couples of today. They have no respect for anyone anymore."</em></p>
