<p>Julia knocked on the door before entering. John looked up and his heart started racing when he saw her standing in the doorway. In his mind he knew exactly what to say and if it was up to him he would walk over to her right now and kiss her as if his life depended on it...however he struggled to get out the words properly and she smiled at him while he made a total fool of himself.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Julia...I'd...lunch meeting..tomorrow..you go with me..."</p>
<p>He sounded like a total idiot, and wished that he could bury his head in the sand like an ostrich.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"I assume what you are asking is that I should accompany you to a lunch meeting tomorrow?"</p>
<p>John nodded while blushing like a ten year old.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Julia smiled and nodded. "Of course I will go with you. I will make sure to dress appropriately."</p>
<p>John caught a whiff of her perfume as she turned around and closed the door behind her.&nbsp;</p>
<p>His heart was still racing and he took a deep breath before diving into the proposal he was working on. He shifted the excitement from his mind and focused as hard as he could, and a few hours later he finally finished the proposal. &nbsp;</p>
<p>He saved everything and noticed the time. He was shocked to see that it was nearly eight o clock. He grabbed his coat, and made way for the door. &nbsp;The whole floor was empty and he couldn't believe that he worked so late, but for some reason he wasn't even tired, but he was totally ravenous. The few cups of coffee he drank was definitely not enough to sustain him through the day. He closed his office door and made way for the main entrance. &nbsp;</p>
<p>When he walked past Julia's table he caught another whiff of her perfume and stood for a second to take it in. He looked up and walked towards the elevator, and then noticed a woman standing in the doorway. It was Julia. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>He called her name, but the woman just turned around and disappeared into thin air. &nbsp;He walked there as quickly as possible but there was no one. He must have imagined the whole thing and realized that he was extremely tired. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p><em>"But he could have sworn...."</em></p>
<p>He was lucky to find a cab quickly and he gave the driver his address. They arrived in front of his apartment block just before nine. He was relieved to be at home. He ordered a double order of his favorite Chinese food, and then stepped into the shower. The coldness of the ceramic tiles, gave him a little chill, but he opened the shower and the warm water trickled down his back.&nbsp;</p>
<p>He felt so much more relaxed when he got out of the shower, and was still busy drying his hair with his towel, when the doorbell rang. He wrapped the towel around him, grabbed his wallet from the kitchen table and went to open the door. He paid the delivery guy and within seconds he was on the couch ready to eat. He ate like he was in starvation and switched on the television.&nbsp;</p>
<p>He couldn't find anything interesting to watch, and finally settled for one of his old time favorites. He dressed in a pair of boxers and an old T-shirt and snuggled up with a blanket in front of the television.&nbsp;</p>
<p>He fell asleep on the couch but was awakened abruptly when he had a very vivid dream about Julia. He shook his head, and went straight to bed. He had to get this woman out of his mind....</p>
