Most Christians have the wrong motives of going to church or serving God. some believers worship God with the mind set of only be bless by God, and becoming successful in there individual careers. To be a rich and successful Christian is good  it is written. _LORD will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them._

But serving God or going to church with the mind set of only abtaining blessing for God is wrong. You will be disappointed, discourage and even renounce your faith. <hr>


As a Christian temptation will come been a Christian does not make us to be above temptation.  Our Lord Jesus was tempted by the devil three times. Be watchful because our adversary the devil is roaring like a hidden lion seeking for who to devour.

**1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)** says: _“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour_ <hr>

Our primary reason for serving God is to be save from sin and death.  Jesus Christ came to die for our sin so that we might be saved. He have restored the lost relationship between we and God.  What shall it profit a man if he gain the world and lose his soul.

**Mark 8:36 (KJV)** says: _“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”_

Seek first the kingdom of God and it righteousness and every other thing shall be added on to you.

**Matthew 6:33 (KJV)** says: _“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”_

It is a promise from God if you seek the kingdom first every of your heart desire shall be given to you by God. I pray that God give us the grace and understanding to serve Him better. <hr>
