Sun And Shadows

# Flower Shadows Collection

It's baking today but I'm not on the beach. I'd already agreed to spend the morning with a friend of mine, working in a cafe, so here I am.

Maybe I'll make it to the beach later although i'm still feeling pretty rough so I might just need to get home for a bit of a lay down instead.

Sticking the the sunny theme though I'm posting some of my photographs from a previous shadow contst when the theme was flowers. You can't go far wrong with sun and flowers I feel. &#128513; 

I was quite surprised at how hard it was to get good photos in a natural setting.

This one of the daisies with their shadows against the wood is my favourite,

Then this one of a wild verge on the side of a country road. I like the symmetry in the photograph and I always enjoy wild flowers.

Then this one which I took at a garden centre. The shadow reminds me of hair on a baby's head! &#128513;

I wasn't really out in the hot conditions but I'm feeling tired from a chest cold that seems to be worse again today.

I didn't have the energy to put on the sun cream that would have been required for a trip to the beach so I came home and rested here instead. &#128522;

If you suffering with a chest cold and are able to get fresh ginger roots to boil up into a tea it is excellent, my son has been quite sick with his chest, drinking ginger tea with slice of lemon and honey has relieved the pain and tightness. _Unfortunately I can't drink ginger, but am happy to brew the pot for him_.
