I want to give some basic information before guiding this action. Most people are not questioning what the word biennial is familiar to the posters all over the city. I'm disappointed that this is true even for people who have visited the exhibition grounds.

So we have to start with a question: what is it? We call the biennial a series of events, which take place every two years and often involve artistic or cultural activities, as it means every other year.

The first event in history to correspond to the meaning of this meaning began in 1895 with the Venice Biennial. The biennial, which took place in Istanbul in 1987, was put on display with the slogan of a good neighbor this year. This activity, which takes place in neighboring places such as Density Artist Studio, questions the criteria of who a good neighbor is in the context of different groups, identities and social status.
