 <p>The National Basketball Association, after taking steps to play games in empty arenas,&nbsp;issued a statement&nbsp;on Wednesday night that all games will be suspended until further notice after a&nbsp;Utah Jazz&nbsp;player,&nbsp;reportedly Rudy Gobert, tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The games will be suspended for&nbsp;at least two weeks, as told by Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press. Also, it has been reported that teams who played with the Jazz in the last 10 days have been told to self-quarantine. These teams include the&nbsp;Cleveland Cavaliers,&nbsp;New York Knicks,&nbsp;Boston Celtics,&nbsp;Detroit Pistons,&nbsp;Toronto Raptors&nbsp;and Oklahoma City Thunder, respectively.</p>

Hi @gingbabida. Yes, I had heard about the NBA player. But I now understand it's two of them. I can understand their concern.  Basketball is a hands on, pushing and shoving, sweat dropping game. The contact is there.

So is the same with a lot of sports, especially NFL football. The contact sports make it inevitable this would reach them sooner or later. As with the case of the NBA, it was sooner.  It probably is already there, just test results haven't been made public yet.
