Prova con seghetto a traforo

Mi sono cimentato a fare qualche prova in più con il seghetto a traforo auto costruito.
Più che per fare tagli esterni, per cui esistono altre macchine molto più performanti, le lavorazione ideali per questo seghetto sono quelli interne al materiale, ovvero quando si parte da un foro per poi seguire una sagoma.

Per iniziare possiamo disegnare a matita la sagoma che vogliamo tagliare, oppure, come vedete in foto, possiamo stampare un'immagine da seguire con la lama del seghetto.
Come consiglio posso suggerire di usare immagini ben definite , in scala di grigio, possibilmente più sul chiaro, in quanto è molto difficile distinguere la lama contro colori molto scuri come il nero.

Succesivamente dovremo forare all'interno di ogni sagoma che vogliamo ritagliare; è meglio scegliere una punta qualche millimetro meno dello spessore che dobbiamo portar via, per non rischiare di avvicinarci troppo al bordo.

Ora possiamo sbloccare la lama dal seghetto e farla passare all'interno del legno che dobbiamo lavorare: pian piano ci tocca seguire il bordo con la lama, cercando sempre di stare all'interno della sagoma.

Non è difficilissimo una volta che ci si prende la mano, bisogna solo capire come muoversi al meglio e con che velocità muovere il pezzo per consentire alla lama il miglior margine di taglio possibile.
