This Christmas would have been one of the worse considering the fact that we lost a very important one in my family- 
my in-law. It was very painful the day he died as it was really drawing very very close to Christmas. My mum cried a lot and lamented so much I feared she would never recover from the shock. His wife was in great agony as the death of her husband came as a shocker to her and to everyone who knew him. 

But we all stopped for a while and decided to be grateful for every situation and we hard no choice but to wipe our tears and hold on strong for everyone especially for the young widow and her child. We decided to hold dear to these saying - “Time heals”. Mind you this is not one of those sympathetic posts, as I brought it up to buttress my point proper from a personal experience. 

Our Christmas was spent in grate joy and happiness as we did not allow pains, sorrow and tears to take the joy of the season from us. Although the pain is undeniable yet we decided that we are still not going to allow that take our happiness and deprive us from spreading more love and happiness. However, we so much believe that time will heal everything.

I have understood so much that if you allow your problems weigh you down, you might likely lose out on so many beautiful things. Sometimes, we just have to accept the fact that what has happened has happened and that there is nothing anyone can do about it, not even the amount of tears that we let flow. However, it is only reasonable to accept the fact that one does not have the power to change some situations. 

## Let the injuries go.
Is there a man that has never been hurt before, who has never been badly and awfully offended, who has not lost a loved one, family and friend? But then, there is something that washes and dries all those pains. 

Time which determines the progress of existence of everything and events in the past, present and future is the only factor that makes us whole again. With time one tends to forget certain things and move on.

When we are so engrossed in the negative aspect of life they make us lose sight of the good things happening around us, we find it really hard to cope and to move on. It is more like dragging a heavy baggage which drains your strength, empties and over power you. That is not what anyone who wants to be happy does. If anyone wants some dose of happiness then forgetting every injury and focusing on healing is the best decision you could ever make.


## May your days be filled with laughter
This I always my best wish for everyone, though some times there are reasons not to laugh, make merry or be happy but I want you to understand that there is no pain that would never go away, nothing lasts for ever – good or bad.

Find a reason to be happy all the time. Laugh at your problems because that is the only way to shake off the effects they might want to bring inside of your life. Hope and be patient, because to hope is to endure and to endure to have faith which makes all good things happen.

Let laughter never live your lips and never pull off the garment that lightens other people’s joy- smiles, wear it at all times.


## It is gradual; do not expect the process to be as fast as you think.

In conclusion, I want to let you know that this healing process is gradual and might seriously not come as fast as you want. Hold on and never let go of hope. Be strong and remain positive.

Those times when it seem like nothing is happening is actually the time your victory might be coming and about to get to your door step. Once you move or shake it misses you and that will be a start afresh.
