Last night after spending $400 on groceries and putting ourselves at risk of exposure by going to the grocery store our power randomly went out for several hours. Of course it was a huge pain because of the potential waste of food not to mention the house we spent sanitizing every single item before taking it inside.

The good new is that the power did kick back on and our food is okay.

Also okay: our gold! Gold requires no external power source nor has any counter party unless every other asset.

The morale of the story.... own some gold!!
