Music never dies

The movie about Queen called Bohemian Rhapsody which is about the years leading up to their magnificent live performance on Live Aid (1985) is a huge success. Actors play the role of Queen which was a risk of course but in the end it seems not to matter as people come for the music mainly I guess.

Sadly Freddy Mercury the lead singer and main composer died of Aids in 1991. Today I played a video of Queen and David Bowie called Under pressure and as we all know also David Bowie died some time ago albeit a little older than Freddy.

The good part is that music continues to live where the people disappear. The music itself is often covered again or used as a sample in another song. The sample of Under pressure is used by Vanilla Ice for his Ice Ice Baby.

Below you can watch both and the vanilla ice version is of 2010 in Moscow in a place called superdisco where many artists performed life appearances like Boney M etc.
