## This is Part 1 of what I hope
will be a 5 or 6 part series. I was going to work more on the song I shared yesterday, but I really like the timbre and simple progression I began with here. I am hoping this song will morph and change quite a bit in that time, so excuse any weird errors/strange sounding things as I work through them via Steem Posts with you guys. Let's go through it as it currently is.

## Track 1 plays our main
chords, and is divided into 2 main sections. Green is our Verse, which is 16 bars long (played 2x at the beginning), and the Chorus in Blue. The Verse is pretty simple, we are in C minor, and play a Cmin to Eb 2x, then an Ab to Bb 2x, before repeating. I have attached a screenshot below that shows the 16 bar progression.

## Track 2 is a bass synth
that I also really like. I will definitely be blending these 2 a bit more, currently they clash at certain frequencies, but I figured that would be good to save for later updates. Track 3 uses a little audio sample that I tuned a bit to fit with our Chord changes, though this is just a placeholder for some melody line I haven't figured out yet.

## Track 4 is another
set of clips used for transitioning between sections. Again, these may not be the final sounds, just holding the place so I remember to add crescendos/builds/etc. Track 5 does the same sort of thing as Track 4, but over the 2nd Chorus. And lastly, we have our 2 drum tracks, one for the Verse, one for the Chorus. Again, these will definitely be changing, but I wanted to establish the general idea I was going for.
## Stay tuned over the next few days as I edit/add/remove/completely alter this tune! It'll be fun to have these posts to look back and see how it morphed over time!
