18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

God designed us to be fruitful spiritually and physically. Thus, it is abnormal for anyone in the kingdom to remain dormant. Jesus, narrating the meaning of His parable of the seed, came to a very salient point. It's amazing that when God talks about thorns, He's not talking about unpleasant people around us but ideas, philosophies, lust or opinions that we have allowed to creep into us and become dominant enough to decide what thrives in us and what doesn't. The mindset we have about riches can choke the word. The overwhelming interests and lust of the eyes about a brother, sister or things can choke the word in us. Note that no human being can choke the word but the kind of relationship or interest that we choose to have with people is what can choke the word. The fears or cares for what to eat and wear can choke the word. Anxieties and worries about tomorrow and issues of life can choke the word. Brethren, think about these things. What is choking the word in you every time you listen to or read the word? What is stopping you from meditation? What is stopping your revelations? It's time to cast out your thorns.

The thorns for one person might not be the same for another. Find out yours and cast it away, for it's time for greater revelatory knowledge of God's word and fruitfulness on every side. Today, I declare an end to every thorns in your life, in Jesus's name. I destroy every pride and ungodly ideas, opinions and philosophies, in Jesus's name. I pronounce fruitfulness upon you, both in spiritual and physical things,in Jesus's name.

Let every sinner come to Christ today and enjoy fruitfulness for life. Forsake your ways and take upon you the most reliable way: Christ the redeemer.
