Pumpkin cake with malt, dipped in chocolate, seriously, what could be better?

This particular idea was inspired by some Australian recipes that I have seen floating around lately.

Have you ever tried pumpkin with malt?  You haven't lived yet until you do!

Normally, when you bake with malt, it likes to make things kind of dry so by adding the pumpkin you create a perfect balance in the cake texture. It’s ultra soft and moist.

The filling is just a simple chocolate butter-cream. Then, after I dunked them all in a generous amount chocolate, I tried a few different coatings, for example coconut and cocoa powder.

I am really proud of how these turned out and the photos ended up good as well.
