Have you read the <a href="https://steem.io/SteemWhitePaper.pdf">Steem White Paper</a>? It forewarned everything you and others are calling out. And yet there is no systemic solution being implemented to address the systemic problems that are self-evident with this platform. 

It ultimately boils down to the fact that the imbalance of the system favors visibility for posts made by those users that have a lot of SP or are in favor with such users, not to quality content publishers. Per the Steem White Paper: <b>"Any widespread abuse of the scoring system could cause community members to lose faith in the perceived fairness of the economic system...Any imbalance in the give and take within a community is unsustainable. Eventually the givers grow tired of supporting the takers and disengage from the community."</b>

Use your standing in this community to call for Steemit Inc to address this manifest deficiency of the platform and have constructive rule changes applied to all users on an equitable basis. Your self policing initiative is not a long term and viable solution to fixing this macro problem.

Again, the free market doesn't lie, per the white paper: <b>"The market system rewards those who provide value to others and punishes those who consume more value than they produce."</b> If the collapse of steem's value and it's lagging market performance to other blockchain projects that it had a multi-year head start on is not a wake up call to Steemit Inc and the Witnesses, I don't know what is.

There should be a max cap on votes.  It blows my mind that a vote can be worth over $500!  I mean congrats on holding and hitting it big but.. FUUUUUUCK that’s so much centralized power!
