# What book will the child like?

The choice of a book will be key to future attempts to approach reading, it is better that everyone choose their own material and our task is to take them to the books according to their INTERESTS and age. In the transit through the First Stage, the children live with great enthusiasm the fantasy, the dreams, the magical powers and can understand the meaning of a narration, that is why it is the stage of **IMAGINATION**, developed in short stories .

At this stage, our participation as active readers is important, children like to listen to our voices and be close to us. When we tell a story, the most important thing is the narration and with what emphasis you do it, in this way you enjoy it.

When assembling the space of the book or reading corner we will place them in accessible places that allow a habitual use. We can include: stories of animals, princesses and fairies, children's stories, magic, ecology, family, poetry and other funny stories.

**THE VOCABULARY** should be simple but with new words within a context that facilitates its interpretation.

Wonderful article. Nothing better than teaching our children to read, I share that the initial responsibility is at home, and then at school and their peer group. It is important that children express their interest in the type of reading they want to do. It's exciting to see them when you tell them a story that catches their attention.
