##### What is Sumokoin?
Sumokoin (スモコイン in Japanese) is a fork from Monero, one of the most respectable cryptocurrency well-known for security, privacy, untraceability and active development. Starting as an educational project, we found that it would be great to create a new coin with high level of privacy by (1) moving forward right away to Ring Confidential Transactions (RingCT), (2) setting minimum transaction mixins to 12 that would make it high resistance to blockchain analysis attacks.
Sumokoin, therefore, is a new Monero without its legacy, a truly fungible cryptocurrency among just a few ones in the market.

Sumokoin is one of a few rare cryptocurrencies with true fungibility - the feature makes digital currency act like physical cash i.e. no other people can find where the money comes from and how many have been transferred.

Sumokoin is created with high level of privacy in mind, setting Ring Confidential Transactions (RingCT) with minimum ringsize of 12(+1) to conceal sources/amounts transferred and make it high resistance to blockchain-analysis attacks

Sumokoin utilizes the power of a distributed peer-to-peer consensus network, every transaction is cryptographically secured. Individual accounts have a 26 word mnemonic seed displayed when created, which can be written down to back up the account and account files are encrypted with a passphrase to ensure they are worthless if stolen.

##### How to Mine Sumokoin
#### Step 1
Download the Sumokoin Windows Miner We'll use XMR-STAK for both easy CPU and GPU mining.

#### Step 2
Download your wallet

#### Step 3
Run Wallet & Write down your mnemonic seed and take note of your wallets address you'll need it later.
#### Step 4
Pick your mining pool.
we'll use: https://sumokoin.hashvault.pro/en/#!/ currently has about 30% of network's hashrate. You can pick a pool with a higher or lower hashrate if you like.

Select the port that matches your hardware.
#### Step 5
Now that you have your miner software , your wallets address and you have picked your mining pool & port. Lets put it all together and setup your miner.
Unzip XMR-STAK and then run as admin (right click select run as admin) xmr-stak.exe.
Press the number 0 and hit enter
XMR-STAK will tell you to _Please enter the currency that you want to mine_
Type sumokoin and hit enter
Next it will ask you for your Pool URL input:
pool.sumokoin.hashvault.pro:443 (or whatever port for your hardware) and hit enter
Next it will ask you for _Your_ Wallet address:

It will ask you for a password some pools allow worker ID's you can put one here:
example: MYRIG and hit enter
Rig identifier
Leave empty and hit enter
Everything else it ask just type "N" for no and hit enter.
#### Step 6
Your miner should configure itself and start running.
You can check your mining stats by inputting your wallets address on the main page of your pool :

You can also estimate mining rewards based on your hashrate.
