You have 4 passwords to use and I only use 2 of them. The posting/upvote  password is for posting, upvoting, and resteeming articles. The Active password is to transfer your SBD and steem around in your wallet. And the password master password you was first given is one you dont want to use unless your changing all of your passwords. If someone was to know that password they can make it so you can lose your account and change all the passwords for you. So make sure you write down your passwords or print them if you have access to a printer and put it in a place where you wont lose it.
