## Ceviche - do not miss in Peru
My purpose of travel are not only adventure but also exploring culture and culinary of country that Iโ€™m visiting. Ceviche is known as one of Peruvian typical food. When I searched about what I should eat in Peru, Ceviche was a result which appeared the most.

Right after I got Peru, I found out a restaurant which served Ceviche near my hotel and decided to try it without hesitance. When I saw menu, I was so surprised since there were over 20 kinds of Ceviche. I ordered Ceviche mixto 32 Soles, which as a waiter said, was her favorite Ceviche.

## Ceviche - The taste of freshness and purity 
I was expecting a lot and eventually it did not let me down. A combination which was mixed several types of seafood such as fish, shrimp, snail, squid. It also served with toasted corn (which is really salty and known as a kind of Peruvian popcorn), oversized boiled corn (I dont know why everything in Peru is oversized looking), a chunk of baked yam โ€” and a tuft of red onion on the top.

Its taste, I dont know how to say but I felt a bit similar with a kind of food in Vietnam, which is made of raw fish and vegetables. I did not think I would find a familiar taste in the other side of the earth. That is why I love it, Ceviche. <br>
Shirmp was the best. Actually every ingredient was so good when mixed with lemon sauce (I guess. I dont know that sauce but sour flavor made me think it was lemon sauce ^^). But I was afraid a bit of raw fish so I just ate a half of it even though it was not bad.

Ever since I went to Vietnam, I thought that ceviche would perfect for Vietnamese people. I'm surprised the cooking technique never became popular there. I think a ceviche restaurant in Danang would probably do well, but I don't know how adventurous the Vietnamese are when they go to restaurants. 

The sauce is lemon or lime juice (it turns white when it cooks the fish, they call it "tiger milk" and you can order drinks of it). The acid in the lemon is what cooks the fish so it's technically not raw like sushi. 

Are you going to Ecuador? I like the ceviche there a lot more. They make it with more tomato, cilantro, and vegetables in it. 

Are you learning any Spanish? Hola (hello) and Gracias (thank you) are the first words you need.

Hahaa. I learn a bit Espanol but still need to use google translation frequently. ๐Ÿ˜‚

After trying some Peruvian food, I realize I love chinese food here. Hahaaa. As any asian, i love rice, i need rice and I love the way of mixing chinese and peruvian styles here. Do you know Chifa? That is my key word when finding food. Hahaa

I wont go Ecuador. I may just go Bolivia and Chile. And try to go Argentina if i can get visa.

Yes, I loved the Chifa when I was in Peru. I think I ate Chifa more than any other food in Peru :) 

I hope you'll get the Argentian visa! I've never been to Bolivia, Chile, or Argentian so I'm looking forward to seeing what you post about them.
