Recently I have been a lot of Japanese restaurants including Sumo BBQ. As its name, I come here to have japanese style BBQ, not for sushi. I have an everlasting love with meat, and also a big big fan of BBQ. Normally I offent choose Korean style, but Sumo BBQ is an exception and also my favorite one. 

I have been here for several times and always satisfied with service and food here. It is well-known for grilled beef, especially kind of high-grade beef. That is why whenever I feel craving for beef, Sumo is my best choice.

*I will skip every review of atmosphere, food, service of restaurant, I just want to show the best one here - Wagyu beef.*

There are 3 buffet menu with different prices. The cheapest menu is also fine with so many choices of food. It is enough to make you satisfied. But if you want to try Wagyu - the most high-grade beef here, you need to pick the most expensive menu.

Once you pick the most expensive one, you can eat everything in the restaurant including Wagyu beef. But Wagyu will be served just once with an small amount, while every food is unlimited. It’s understandable because Wagyu is too expensive for buffet which just costs $22. lol. But trying it is not bad experience.

High-grade beef also goes with special stuffs. They grill Wagyu on the stone, kind of special stone that make the grilled beef a bit salty. The steak of Wagyu looks so beautiful and attractive, showing clearly the incredible marbling - the specific characterstic that Wagyu is famous for.

It is precious enough to make you don’t want to dip it in any kind of sauce just to taste completedly the original and rich flavor of beef. The piece of rare beefsteak is incrediblely tender with full of meat juice. You can feel it simply melt in your mouth.
