I'm kinda nervous about direct use of biometrics. If you're using facial recognition, what's to stop someone who has a copy of your picture from using that? The problem with direct use of biometrics is that if that biometric gets compromised, there's no taking it back. A better approach would be to use biocryptics (the combination of biometrics with cryptography) that uses hashing algorithms, and salts in the case of compromise. Then you can just revoke that biocryptic and issue a new one (using a different salt for instance).
