What makes you stay in Steemit even the value is low?
View the original post on Musing.io

Albert Einstein once said "Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value". Most people of today do have the thinking that money is everything and if it is not making money it's not making sense. Well, that's their perception towards life. This literally explains why some people are on Steemit due to the reward or income they want to gain and musing also isn't left out regarding this kind of mindset from people.

I will answer your question by sharing my experience with you because it really explains some of my journey on the Steemit and I hope you learn from this.

I actually got to know about Steemit while I was researching about a cryptocurrency by asking on Google. The first link that shows my answer was a post made by someone from steemit, and I had to click on the link and this directed me to Steemit. I was more curious to know more about the platform when I saw people gaining dollars just for commenting and posting. I was astonished that is this really possible? I just had to sign up for Steemit because of the money involved with the intention of earning cool cash as a student.

After gotten verified on Steemit after some few weeks, I thought it was just so easy to earn since I will just write articles or blog and expect cool dollars in my wallet but unfortunately it is a different case for me as a newbie (novice). I was just changing my niche and writing pattern because I wanted to make money the way great whales were making money. This also led me to plagiarize a post then and I was flagged by steem cleaners. I wasn't just feeling very comfortable because I was just changing from my niche one point to another all in the name of making money but at the end I wasn't able to make that cash.

As a student, I love to solve people's problems by providing answers to their questions be it calculations or theory and I am very happy whenever I do this. This made me active on Quora and other questions and answers platform because I just love solving people's problems.

One day, I decided to post motivational pictures on my whatsApp Status, while I was searching for pictures on my phone I saw musing in my gallery. I was just so curious to know more about it and I don't really know the whatsApp Group that image came from. I had to research about musing and I discovered musing is what I have been searching for this while because "I can earn more income by doing what I love".

Ever since I had found out about musing, I have been a full time musing user such that there is high chance of me getting recognized by some of the curators when it comes to providing quality answers. Mhen! Steemit seems to be very interesting to me now because of musing. This is why I am not sometimes bothered about the reward because I believe in striving to become a man of value just as I have stated on the beginning of this post quoted by Albert Einstein and I am proud to tell you that I am very contented with what I am earning on this platform.

What makes me stay on Steemit is really the fact that I am making great impact and touching people's heart by solving their problems which I do whenever I answer their questions with the help of musing. Musing has really helped me by making me serve humanity and also musing has helped me developed my knowledge. Do you think it's worth to quit Steemit for such great benefit?

Due to my love for Steemit, even though most people left the platform while the hardfork dilemma was on going such that you can't earn big, that doesn't stops me from using the platform because I am just very addicted to it.

In conclusion, I will continue to keep using Steemit because I love what I do and I don't believe that money is really everything but I just have to keep hoping for the best and I am sure the best is coming if I don't give up. I employ everyone to go for what they love to do and don't be slave for money. The more you are doing what you love doing, the happier you become and the reward will surely fall into place provided you don't give up.

Thanks for reading and I hope this helps.
