The people of Aceh is known as a pluralistic society that has a variety of custom and culture and local wisdom. The diversity of cultures and customs still practiced from ancient times until now. Even the younger generation do not know since when the habit starts. One local wisdom Aceh is still carried out on a regular basis up to now is the implementation of kenduri blang (feast down fields). Kenduri blang (blang festivity) is usually done before go to the field.

All the people who have and want to plant rice paddy field, participating to hold a feast. Public participation is based on orders from keujruen blang (Acehnese traditional institutions specialized care in paddy fields). Keujruen blang as chairman in the paddy fields will provide notice before the farmers go to the field. keujruen blang highly respected and obeyed by local farmers. Because at the time of planting rice, mutual cooperation in the fields, waterways and so forth need to consult with keujruen blang.

- Building a harmonious relationship between the residents and the community.
- As a form of gratitude for the sustenance of society and yields given god almighty.

<b>Process event Kenduri blang</b>
- Each farmer brings some cooked rice and side dishes as well as bulukat (typical food acehnese made from glutinous rice)
- Reading a prayer to god almighty to be given the ease and smoothness of the beginning of the rice planting until harvest.
- Then the meal shared between farmers and surrounding communities

In some areas of Aceh, Kenduri blang held three times since the start of the preparation of the fields until late fall harvest. When the rice has begun greening society do both feast and at harvest time, farmers will hold the third keunduri. All the people are very enthusiastic to participate and attend the Kenduri blang..
