The Atlanta Hawks defeated the visiting Philadelphia 76ers to a high-scoring game 127-117. The Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young scored 39 points, 6 rebounds and a career-high of 18 assists. John Collins scored 17 points, 20 rebounds while De'Andre Hunter added 15 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists for the team victory. On the otherhand Ben Simmons led the Philadelphia 76ers with 31 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists. Shake Milton added 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists while Joel Embiid contributed 21 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists in the losing effort. Ben Simmons clearly growing as a legit playet and his hot plays continued even with Joel Embiid it just doesn't matter at all. He's relentlessly attacking the paint and accepting the contact then hitting the free-throw line and he's actually shooting well. Trae Young can score whenever he wants and he is more efficient and confident to shoot, he can just dole out assists too. This is the first step in turning the Atlanta Hawks into a winning team. Right now, if they had Omari Spellman playing like he has been then Trae Young could get averaging twenty-one points per-game of strength of his assisting and both of their three-point spacing. But i hope the management will help him get a better supporting player for him. Anyways, the Atlanta Hawks imorove their record to 13-36 while the Philadephia 76ers fall to 31-18 on the season.
