The visiting Detroit Pistons stunned the Boston Celtics in high-scoring game 116-103. Sekou Doumbouya scored a career-high with 24 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. Derrick Rose scored 22 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists while Markieff Morris added 23 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists for the Detroit Pistons victory. Meanwhile Gordon Hayward led the Boston Celtics with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. Jaylen Brown added 24 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists while Kemba Walker contributed 19 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists in the losing effort. Sekou Doumbouya was in the D-league affiliate Grand Rapids Drive, when he came in he looked super raw defensively. His time there was definitely good for his development. i wouldn't have expected him to be this good at this stage based on where he started. He was playing quality minutes in the D-league which he has attributed a lot of his improvement and especially in rebounding. This year is a good timing for Derrick Rose to come back since every team now focus on three-point shooting and suddenly Derrick Rose bring back the mid-range jumper. And i like his style of playing but he should be cautious of landing and movement and i hope he can stay healthy. Anyways the Detroit Pistons improve to 15-27 while the Boston Celtics fall to 27-12 on the season.
