this is so needed for the country, It seems currently they have some many problems. The President seeks to change the constitution and become a communist dictator, there is a resulting backlash on the scale of a small war, and food and resources are too expensive to afford for many. It's life changing, and actually it is changing our life no matter we accept it or not. I think people will give more attention to cryptocurrency as big countries start to do legislation on Bitcoin.

Great news. Thanks for sharing it @heiditravels. I hope this can be a "small step for crypto but a huge step for Venezuela". We really need this, even that many are not aware of the many blessings while handling or having crypto currencies. Personally, I give away as much info as I can everywhere. Today, while I was sending a package using DHL, as soon as they knew I was related to bitcoin somehow, they've started a conversation with many questions. There is a lot of people here just willing for good information. I really hope this may open many initiatives around Dash and every crypto currency in here.

Venezuela knows about bitcoin, the communist government on the island considers it "stealing from the people."  They will shut you down if found.  Given the cheap electricity costs it actually makes a lot of money there. I read one account of someone who had his computers confiscated by the government. After he was released his computers came back on-line one week later. (He knew this from special software installed.) (Presumable to mine bitcoin for the corrupt authorities.) While I do see benefits to promotion of cryptocurrencies in third world countries, getting the currency is likely the hardest thing. Like US dollars, as soon as the currency is made it leaves the country to buy desperately needed food and medicine. People are starving. Finding ways to hire people online and pay them via cypto-currency might be a better plan.

I love seeing how cryptocurrencies are helping countries in need. I think cryptocurrencies will do more to help 3rd world countries and those that are struggling financially than the foreign aid that they are provided. Hopefully cryptos will be able to help these countries pick themselves up and thrive!

Great post. I personally feel that dash has a huge potential and is going to surpass most altcoins and will be equal to bitcoin (even better maybe) at one point and hope it helps people like me who believe it does :P

Due to the failure in mutual trust between people and the country, cryptocurrency seems like become a good choice for their value of store.

crypto currency has now reached the point of success, the result must have had a very bitter struggle in the past. some people do not think about the fight in the past, they just look at sekrang time, more on enjoying the results alone.

Yeah I did a documentary on how [central banking destroyed Venezuela](https://youtu.be/77pPDUj3tnU), and they could certainly use crypto there as the criminals are pretty much everywhere and you need a backpack full of bolivar to buy anything. Good Luck.
