Because of it's inherent beauty, the Lake has been chosen as a filming location for quite a number of highly recognised films. Some you might recognise are : Casino Royale, Starwars, and even the music videos for "All of Me" by John Legend. It is clear that it isn't just tourists which recognise the Lake as something worth documenting in film and I would highly recommend that you visit yourself to see the beauty of it for your own eyes.
