Today I want to share photos of my street in the village.

(This is my cat Mary. Unfortunately, She died last autumn. She was 17 years. She was the most intellegent cat I've ever seen)

But first I want to tell how we've become the owners of a house in a small village.

I've always wanted to live in a house, not in a flat. But The price for the land in our area has made this dream unreal. We started to think of buying a country house to spend weekends and holidays there.  

It was June, 2014 year just before the finacial crisis in y country. On the 12th June we celebrate Russia Day and have a day off. My son, husband and I decided to go fishing to the river Oka. On the map, we found the place where the Goose river flowed into the Oka river. When we arrived, it was raining. Everything was grey and gloomy. However, we decided to stay there at night because we spent 4 hours to get there (250 kilometers). We put up a tent, fried sausages and went to bed. And in the morning, the sun came out and I saw a wonderful river, the edge of the forest and the snow-white Church in the distance. I realized I wanted to live here. I wanted to go back to this place again and again. My husband had the same feelling. 

*Я всегда хотела жить в доме, а не в квартире. Цена на землю в нашем районе делала эту мечту далекой и мало осуществимой. Иногда мы подумывали о покупке дачи, но особо не уделяли время этому вопросу до одного дня))) 
2014 год. Июнь. На День России сын, муж и я решили поехать на рыбалку на р. Оку. По карте нашли место, где Ока сливается с речкой Гусь. Приехали, а на улице дождь моросит. Серо, тоскливо. Обратно 250 км не поедешь. Делать нечего. Разобрали палатку, пожарили сосиски и легли спать. А утром, вышло солнышко и я увидела чудесную речку, кромку леса и белоснежную церковь вдалеке. Я сразу поняла, что хочу здесь жить. Хочу вернуться в это место. У мужа возникло такое же ощущение.*

When we came back home, we started to search ads about selling houses in that place. We found several good announcement. Then we applied to the Bank for a loan. The loan was approved during couple of days. And the folowing weekend we went to see the house. We wanted to live in the village Belkovo, but the house was in a very bad condition. We decided to go to the neighboring villages. We saw an announcement of the sale on one of the houses. We called the owner and one hour later she arrived. It took us five minutes to examine the house. We realized it's **our House**.

*Сразу после рыбалки, дома мы отправились на сайт Авито. Там нашли несколько объявлений о продаже домов. Подобрали несколько вариантов. Сразу обратились в банк за кредитом, который нам оформили за пару дней. На следующие выходные поехали смотреть дом. Мы хотели жить в деревне Бельково, но дом оказался совсем в плачевном состоянии. Поехали по соседним деревням. На одном из домов увидели объявление о продаже. Позвонили, через час подъехала хозяйка. Пять минут на осмотр и осознание Это Наш Дом.*
