The Stars of the season! 

Hi welcome back everybody! Like most of you know I posted about the regular season of the NBA weekly as well as I do while the play-offs are on. During the season I posted over 30 times about my take on the best performers weekly. Today I will share with you the Heyitshaas MVP’s. to you they may come across as random but I decided to pick the players that really surprised me an helped their team in a big way. 

Too early to publish this list while the season did not end yet? I don’t think so, we all know the season only has one more game, maybe two before we crown the Warriors as champions!  

Before the season started I posted my predictions on the players that will surprise us all per division. Just have a look at the bottom of this post.
But as mentioned today I will share my thoughts on the players that surprised most and deserve the attention!

__PJ Tucker__
Let’s start with PJ Tucker, who really worked very hard to get to the situation he is right now. And by that I mean playing big minutes in a Western Conference final. 
Tucker got selected with the 35th pick in 2006, singing a two year deal with the Toronto Raptors. Only a few months later he was send to the Development league. A few months after that he was waived by the Raptors. How is that for a rough start?
After years of trying to save his career in Europe he finally got rewarded with an invitation to play in the Summer league for the Phoenix Suns. His patience paid off and he signed a deal with them, last season he did great for the Raptors and right now he is on a four year $32 million deal with the Rockets.
Will they make it to the finals next year?

He played in over 33 minutes in the play-offs for the Rockets and really helped them during the regular season as well with his leadership, effort, defense and veteran play.  So for all of you who did not pay attention to him this year, make sure you do next year! he really was one of the biggest surprises this year.


__JJ Redick__
What do you do when you are on a good team but just can’t make a deep play-offs run? Players go their own way. Paul, Griffin and JJ Redick where all big parts of a Clipper team that tried to make some noise for years but did not really succeeded.
To me Redick deserves to be on this list for what he did for the Sixers. His leadership but maybe more important his sharp shooting in order to spread the floor really benefited the Sixers. I predicted them to make it to the play-offs but did predict them to be as good as they were this year. Redick told the media that this was one of the most enjoyable season of his career, so would he sign a new deal? And can the Sixers improve even more? Exciting times! Hope he will stay with the team.

__Fred van Vleet__
Like Tucker did, Van Vleet also struggled to get his career started. He played 4 years in college and there were hardly any NBA interested in giving him a chance to show himself. He made it to the Raptors roster earning the final spot. And just look at him now! He is maybe the most important player off the Raptors bench, the bench that led the NBA in scoring this year! I expect great things of van Vleet and I am very happy he is playing for my Raptors right now

__Spencer Dinwiddie__
Can player on a losing team make an big impact? I am not really impressed by players putting up big numbers on losing teams, so I tend to not name them in my weekly lists. However when you are a player that gets an opportunity to show yourself due to injuries and do very well I am willing to give you a shout out!
So Spencer Dinwiddie! Well done this year! I think he will be picked up by a other team or the Nets should trade Lin in order to not waste any talent on the bench the coming season. I really liked his play this year.
He even won the Skill Challenge during the All-star game this year, showing his potential on the big stage.

__Clint Capela__
He might win most improved player this year! what a performance and I really enjoy seeing the chemistry he has with Harden. He is such a force and strong rebounder, if the Rockets can keep hem they might be able to be champions next year! But I know for sure many teams would like add him!
Keep an eye on his play.
