 Dan Brown became world-famous and bestselling author with his trilogy "Sacrilege" " Illuminti" and "Das Symbol" followed by many more books, all bestsellers. As far as I know, his books have sold over 70 million copies. This thriller by Dan Brown deals with the US secret service NSA and its cryptographic department, which has a secret supercomputer at its disposal. This supercomputer can crack any code (secret encrypted messages) in a flash to fight drug traffickers, criminals, and terrorists. These organizations use these coded texts to exchange information and make plans, and that's when this supercomputer comes into play. Suddenly "Diabolus" appears, a mysterious program that makes the supercomputer of the NSA look very old. The developer threatens to reveal this program to the public. NSA is now doing everything it can to prevent this. Personally I am a big Dan Brown fan, so I enjoyed reading his thriller "Diabolus". Ok one can be quite divided, not torn apart by his critics, but still they criticize his sometimes quite own style of writing.
