## Are You Tired of The Lies and Deceit of Politicians? ##

If you are like me you don't want to see these pigs in your social media streams. I have been bombarded with political ads here in Panama over the last few weeks and I know they will just increase. So I am asking everyone to start reporting these ads for being offensive. 

If a large portion of the people that see these ads report them then the algorithms are bound to raise the costs of showing them. Facebook has an algorithm for its ads that shows relevance on a scale of 1-10. If we keep the scores low the costs of doing the ads rises proportionately.

It's really a good tip! I'm so tired to be bombarded with political ads everywhere. We had the elction Day in March, it was an hard time and after some months it's always hard time. I hope the election in Panama will have better result than in Italy.

Being able to advertise for political purposes on Facebook or any other form of social media should be disallowed. Given all of the unfounded claims and hype around the 2016 U.S presidential election, I am surprised that Facebook even allows these advertisements still.

In the interim, reporting them in mass numbers to drive up the cost is a great initiaitive. It might even make Facebook sit up and take notice, forcing it to deal with political ads differently.
