Article 13, as the European Parliament formulated it, has huge unintended consequences for all. Article 13 is part of a European copyright law aimed at safeguarding creativity and finding more effective ways for copyright owners to protect their content online.

I support the objectives of Article 13, but as it is formulated by the European Parliament, the result may be huge unintended consequences that can change the internet we have today.

I want to watch reaction-videos. I want to watch gameplays and I want to use images and screenshots whenever I write articles. With proper sources shared, we **should** be allowed to do that, but Article 13 will change **everything**.

Now, I won't pretend that I know the entire law or that I understand everything within Article 13, but I do know that **most** of my favorite Swedish YouTubers will be forced to **quit** YouTube, or change their entire approach and behaviour. I watch YouTube videos on a **daily** basis and even though **unique** and **genuine** content is awesome, **most** of the YouTubers I watch will be forced to produce **different** types of material. No longer will I be able to watch any form of reaction-videos for instance.

Would you watch a reaction video without knowing **what** the person reacts too? - That's what it will be with Article 13. You won't be able to see the gameplays or short highlights or replays. Nothing.

You're about to look at the most recent uploaded video from your favorite YouTuber. A new reaction/gameplay video to that awesome game you've heard so much about or a reaction/response video to the recent news you've heard. Nope. Won't be the same.

The YouTuber will **not** be able to show you **anything** except for themselves. Sure, he or she might look good and all, but how fun will it be to watch them play a game, without seeing the actual game? How fun will it be to see them react to an awesome rap battle, a music video or that awesome fight-scene in that new Jackie Chan film, without the content from the things they react too...? - It will be horrible.

How about all the Twitch streamers, DTubers or any other content creators?
